What are personal astrological transits?
Go read my introductory post here and more advanced post on aspects here, You need to understand some of the basics mentioned in those posts.
Transits in astrology are a way for the planets in our solar system to interact with the planets and influences in Your personal natal chart.
In other words, the planets that are moving around in their orbits are making aspects or configurations to Your personal natal planets. The moving planets are communicating with the stand-still planets in Your birth chart. Or in essence = with You!
They can use more harmonious language to communicate with You, or a disharmonious.
I always want to bet bigger when there are more harmonious aspects in my natal chart. And not bet at all or bet small when there are more disharmonious aspects.
The Best transits in astrology for betting
I decided to dissect this part into segments in order of importance.
You will see that some are bigger and longer lasting. It also means = stronger.
And some are more frequent but not as strong.
As a general rule = conjunctions are always the strongest!
Where can You see Your personal transits?
The best free online tool is still www.astro.com. You can get everything You need quickly from there.
NB! If You generate a natal chart, click on transits to add the current influences communicating with Your personal natal chart!
Transits to Part of Fortune
I explained the meaning of Part of Fortune here. Go check that post out, Part of Fortune (or PoF) is important in our own personal charts, as well as Horary Sports Astrology charts.
- Jupiter in conjunction with PoF.
- Repeats only every 12-13 years. And lasts usually for a couple of weeks. But with retrogrades, You can get lucky and it can repeat multiple times.
- Sun and Venus in conjunction with PoF.
- Repeats every year and are moderately strong. The strongest influence is usually for a week or two.
- Moon in conjunction with PoF.
- Repeats every month and is the weakest of the conjunctions. But it still influences betting positively! I definitely use it if at all possible.
- Pluto in conjunction with PoF.
- If You are lucky to get this transit in Your lifetime, definitely use it. But as of now, I don’t yet have a lot of real-world data on it. But it SHOULD work great. This is a long-long transit and influence!
I also need to mention the trines and sextiles to PoF.
Use trines and sextiles from Jupiter, Sun, Venus, Moon, Pluto with caution first and foremost. Remember, PoF doesn’t have an orb! So if You decide to use them, only within a degree of the transit! And applying is always stronger! Let go when it’s already separating.

Jupiter’s transits in betting with astrology
I really want to see Jupiter in action and in a harmonious connection with the natal chart when I’m thinking of betting bigger on a sports astrology chart. But even with squares and oppositions, Jupiter can work well. But You have to ground Yourself more and not go crazy!
Jupiter expands in hard or disharmonious aspects to such an extent we tend to detach from reality!
- Jupiter in conjunction with the rulers of the 2nd, 5th, 8th, and 11th house.
- 2nd and 5th houses are the strongest for betting, with the 5th house taking the lead between the two of them.
- Trine and sextile also work here. I would use a max 4-degree orb. The closer the aspect is = the better! Applying still strongest!
- Usually, the transits last for a few weeks. But with the retrograde, You can get even luckier.
- Jupiter in conjunction with Pluto.
- Similar rules apply as mentioned above.
- Jupiter in conjunction with Venus.
- Just as with Pluto and the rulers.
- Jupiter transiting the mentioned houses.
- Lasts for about a year.
- Weaker when Jupiter is retrograde.
- The 5th house is still the strongest!
- Especially strong if in conjunction with the 5th house cusp! But this lasts only for a week or two (longer with retrogrades).
The ruler of the 5th house transiting the natal chart
You really need to understand rulers in order to use this but it’s important!
- The ruler of the 5th house in conjunction with Jupiter.
- The ruler of the 5th house in conjunction with Venus.
- The ruler of the 5th house in conjunction with Pluto.
- The ruler of the 5th house in conjunction with the ruler of the 5th!
- The ruler of the 5th house in conjunction with the 2nd house.
The same rules apply as already mentioned in the Jupiter chapter! The length of the transits here depends on the movement of the ruling planet! Sextiles and trines can be used, but they can be a tad weaker.
Pluto’s transits in betting with astrology
Pluto is important in betting because it represents money and lots of it. But it has a darker side and needs to be used carefully. Especially in conjunctions with planets! Pluto is also transformation and destruction.
- Pluto in conjunction with the rulers of the 2nd, 5th, 8th, and 11th house.
- 2nd and 5th houses are the strongest for betting, with the 5th house taking the lead between the two of them.
- Trine and sextile also work here. I would use a max 4-degree orb. The closer the aspect is = the better! Applying still strongest! In Pluto’s case, I actually prefer sextiles and trines to conjunctions. It’s just easier to handle and I get the positive side of things.
- Pluto in conjunction (or sextile and trine) with Jupiter.
- Pluto in conjunction with Venus. Sextiles and trines also apply.
- Similar rules apply as with the rulers and Jupiter.
- Pluto in conjunction with the 5th house cusp.
Neptune’s transits in betting with astrology
Neptune is even trickier. With Neptune, I only use sextiles and trines with comfort! Conjunctions are 50/50 and only use with proper risk management! I would personally skip them!
- Neptune in trine or sextile with the rulers of the 2nd, 5th, 8th, and 11th house.
- 2nd and 5th houses are the strongest for betting, with the 5th house taking the lead between the two of them.
- I would use a max 4-degree orb. The closer the aspect is = the better! Applying still strongest!
- One of the biggest wins in my personal career has come with a Neptune sextile!
- Neptune in conjunction (or sextile or trine) with Jupiter.
- With Jupiter, Neptune’s conjunction can be used.
- Similar rules apply as with the rulers.
- Neptune in sextile or trine with Pluto.
- Similar rules apply as with the rulers.
- Neptune in sextile or trine with Venus.
- Neptune in conjunction with Venus can be ok.
- Similar rules apply as with the rulers.
Venus’s transits in betting with astrology
I also want to see Venus transiting important points in order to size and time my betting strategy. But Venus is a faster-moving planet, and it’s strength is much weaker than for example Jupiter’s!
- Venus in conjunction with the rulers of the 2nd, 5th, 8th, and 11th house.
- 2nd and 5th houses are the strongest for betting, with the 5th house taking the lead between the two of them.
- Trine and sextile also work here. I would use a max 4-degree orb. The closer the aspect is = the better! Applying still strongest!
- Usually, the transits last for a few days. But with the retrograde, You can get even luckier.
- I would be extra careful with Venus making hard aspects to the natal chart. It doesn’t work as well as with Jupiter!
- Venus in conjunction with Pluto.
- Similar rules apply as mentioned above.
- Venus in conjunction with Neptune.
- Similar rules apply as mentioned above.
- Venus in conjunction with Venus.
- Just as with Pluto and the rulers.
- Venus transiting the mentioned houses.
- Lasts for about a month or 3 weeks. Can be longer if Venus is in retrograde.
- Weaker when Venus is retrograde.
- The 5th house is still the strongest!
- Especially strong if in conjunction with the 5th house cusp! But this lasts only for a about week (longer with retrogrades).
Summary
I really urge You to take this slowly, especially if You are new to astrology and betting with it. Start with the bigger and more important transits. And work Your way down from there to the faster-moving ones.
Timing can sometimes be tricky and You need to pick and choose. I mostly disregard the weaker influences and aim to bet during the stronger transits.
